When naive but sexually freewheeling Rose (Laura Dern) rambles into town, the Hillyer family will never be the same. The year is 1935, and the tall, pretty teen has been hired by the Hillyers as a domestic. She's only passing through, but she'll cause quite a romantic commotion before she leaves.
