Tape Wrappers 101
(the formatting of this section is under repair... sorry)
MoviesOnCable.com can print tape wrappers for two reasons. The first is that my wife always goes straight to the tapes on the shelf and starts flipping through them to find something to watch. When they just had the movie title she often complained that she didn’t know what they were. The second reason is that I’d loan out a tape and it would never come back. The person I loaned the tape to would forget what the movie was, never watch it, and never give my tape back. Since I began wrapping my tapes, I haven’t lost a single one.

To wrap a tape you need to:
Print the wrapper
Cut it out
Tape it to the box

Print the Wrapper
In the Library Tools section of the Movie Details page you’ll find a button that says, “Tape Wrapper”. Clicking this displays the wrapper for the movie you were looking at. Now select “Print Preview” in the “File” pulldown menu at the top of the screen.

Next click on the “Page Setup” icon, it’s the one that looks like a little gear in front of a page (see illustration at left).

Click on the “Landscape” button in the lower left corner and click “OK”.

Click “Print” in the upper left corner.

Click on the “Pages” button and tell it to print just page 1. Then click print.

Cut it out
Take the resulting page from your printer and cut the bottom off by cutting a straight line from the bottom of the dotted line on the left to the bottom of the dotted line on the right… don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be perfect. From there, just follow the dotted lines all the way around and move on to the next step!

Tape it to the box
Fold the wrapper right in between the edge of the description text and the movie title on the spine part of the wrapper.

Scotch tape the back of the wrapper in place with one piece of tape in the middle. This will be enough to hold it securely in place but will be easily removed when you scratch the tape.

Use two pieces of tape on the front. This will keep the wrapper from snagging on other tapes when you put it on the shelf.
